Panafrican Women Network for a Culture of Peace: From thoughts to action

This is a great initiative promoted by UNESCO. The contribution of African women to conflict prevention, peace building and post-conflict stabilization is critical for the future of the continent. Women social and political leadership is aligned with a culture of peace and by fostering women empowerment and leadership we are contributing to build up more inclusive and ultimately more democratic societies, which is a precondition for peace.
